With a jewelry evaluation, you have a value that your item should be insured for. In a constantly changing market, most insurance companies recommend that this evaluation be redeemed every few years. As the prices of precious metals and diamonds change so should your evaluation.

The document should be detailed in case your jewelry is ever lost or stolen.
